Visiting My Dad In His North Carolina Nursing Home

I’m heading to Aberdeen, North Carolina at the end of the month, to visit my dad. He’s 97 and just recently moved from his assisted living facility, into a nursing home.
He loved his assisted living facility; but was tired of going to rehab and decided for himself it was time to go to a nursing home.
He likes the fact that he shares his room with another guy. My dad isn’t a real talker; but he loves to listen and as he says, “Without company, I get lonesome.”
I’m going to visit my dad at the end of the month.
